October: time to head South or to be hauled out.

Fall has arrived here in Vermont and in the Lake Champlain Valley. The cooler temperatures and the shorter daylight hours have arrived along with the great foliage.

Sue and I have been rowing out of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.

We have decided to travel South with our camper come January.  Lucy III has been hauled for the Winter.  There are Winter projects, as always.  One of them is rebuilding the centerboard which was damaged during the hauling process.
