The Emerald waters of No Name Harbor, Key Biscayne

Marc-  Today was magnificent for its colors.  We left the underside of the Las Olas Bridge (we were beginning to think we were trolls) and headed for the open Atlantic Ocean.  The blue skies were perfect. We went by many colorful houses and boats on our way out. There were alot of mega yachts and the biggest sailboat we have ever seen.  We exited Everglades Inlet and took a hard right for a 20 mile trip to the Port of Miami Inlet.
The aquamarine color of the sea was very nice.  We could see Miami 20 miles away due to its high rise hotels on the beach.

We left the ocean and went into the Port of Miami.  We saw container ships being loaded.  As we got to Biscayne Bay, the water turned to an emerald green color.  It was just gorgeous.  We looked for a place to spend the night at the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, but it was full.  We picked up moorings in the very large mooring field at Dinner Key Marina, and we will spend two nights here.

We walked around Coral Gables and had dinner at the Wine and Branch restaurant in Peacock Park.
