Final Day of Disney explorations...

12 February 2022

Ft. Wilderness Campground, Disney World, FL

Marc-  We spent our last day here walking around.   It started well with me seeing 5 deer feeding along the trail (they appeared to be one family group - unfortunately no photos).  We enjoyed two NY Times crossword puzzles on ZOOM with Brian, Katie, Ann & Michael Gilmartin, and Steph.  The weather was the warmest yet during our time in Orlando with temperatures in the 70's.  Sue and I had time for more tennis.  We later took the Ferry (a brand new ferry designed with the help of crew) over to the Magic Kingdom docks.  Next stop was the Polynesian Resort that we walked over to using beautiful pathways and crossing one swing bridge.  Our dinner at the Ahana restaurant was excellent:  it was a "buffet" but our waiter simply brought us plates full of everything, including dessert.  We walked a total of 6.7 miles.  At one point we walked through the Grand Floridian Hotel on our way to a shop and heard some beautiful music:  https://youtube.com/shorts/TKdL7xcCtaY?feature=share
