Martha's Vineyard Ferry
Marc- We took a week off our cruising to attend a wedding in Martha's Vineyard, MA. This place is great even in stormy weather. The wedding went off without a problem despite 25-30 knot winds, 6-8 foot seas and heavy rain. These islanders are tough. We enjoyed being back at one of our favorite ports that we visited often when we kept a boat in nearby Buzzards Bay.
favorite ice cream
Favorite carousel of Sara and Steph.
One of many gingerbread houses in Oak Bluffs.
The Black Dog boats Vineyard Haven.
Nice boats eh.
The unscheduled freight boat that we took to get to and from the Island.
Once back at Waterford we loaded up CODA with additional gear and supplies. My cousin Armand came over to visit and then joined us for dinner with Charlie Langworthy who had docked aboard White Seal. We plan on doing some grocery shopping in the morning and then head down to the Castleton Boat Club to raise our masts.
One of my cousin Armand's drawings.
