Great Egret at Marathon Beach

Marc-  We did our walk to Marathon Beach this morning and I enjoyed getting my feet wet.  There was a Great Egret that got our attention in the dunes between the beach and the park.

Sue and the Great Egret

We returned from the Beach to do the New York Times Crossword puzzle via Zoom (always fun).

Next we did boat cleaning and laundry as well as grocery shopping.  In mid-afternoon Michael arrived to take us to Big Pine Key for an outdoor cookout with friends from the Fort Lee PD who live there.  It was a very pleasant time.

Big Pine Key sunset.   Fat Albert, U.S. Military blimp, in is the photo as well.

Michael made friends with two dogs: Fifi and Mimi Rose at Big Pine Key.

I was impressed that fish (or at least Mangrove snapper) really like to eat cat food.  Please see the following:  https://youtu.be/3w-1HhDtY4A

Finally a visit to Big Pine Key is not complete without seeing Key deer.
