Tomoka State Park
Ormond Beach, Florida
Tomoka Outpost Store and Marina.
Marc- Another day of heavy driving crossing the state on secondary roads from Sarasota to Fort Pierce and then up Route 95 to Ormond Beach. No issues on the roads. Our campground was waiting for us and we get to stay in one campsite for a full week!
We stopped at a nice quilt shop in Melbourne. There was also an excellent pizza shop nearby that took care of lunch. We met up with quilting friends Mary & Ellen from Tampa, for dinner at the Hilton Hotel at Daytona Beach, where they are at the American Quilter's Society QuiltWeek. Sue met them at a retreat at the Strong House in Vergennes last November, and they will be meeting there again next November.
This one is for the birds.
