10 March 2023, Southern Camping Trip Day 64

Huntington Beach State Park

Murrells Inlet, South Carolina

Under our old oak tree.

Marc-   We spent much of this day traveling about and having lunch on Pawley's Island with our friends Peggy and John.  Back at the Huntington Beach State Park we attended the 3 in 1 day activities at the Atalaya Castle (the former home of Archer and Anna Huntington).  It is a celebration of each of their birthdays and their wedding anniversary.  The highlight was seeing a professional sculptor, Bryan Rapp, work clay into beautiful forms while explaining the process from clay to casting in aluminum or bronze.

Finally, no day is complete without a walk on the beach.
