Manatee at Fiddler's Green

Friendly dolphin at Dolphin Research Center

Marc-  Today we continued our tradition of early walking followed by the group effort New York Times Crossword puzzle orchestrated by maestro Brian Gilmartin of Hardwick, Vermont.  We picked up some lunch and cake then went over to Fiddler's Green to have lunch and do an early celebration of my birthday.  We were surprised by an uninvited guest - a large manatee that seemed to like to hang out at Fiddler's Green (it liked the sink fresh water discharge).  The traditional Carvel ice cream cake and gifts from Sue were fantastic.  I next noticed that fish were schooling beneath the boat.  Some of this is caught on videos linked below.

The highpoint of the day was going to visit the Dolphin Research Center and seeing dolphins up close.  We enjoyed watching a family of 4 girls and their parents who all went for a swim with dolphins.
