CODA : Living the life in the Exuma Islands, Bahamas.

Sand Dollar Beach mooring field (#42), Elizabeth Harbour, Georgetown, Great Exuma Cay, Bahamas
I wonder if this is enough of a red sky this morning that we should take warning.
Marc- There is an old sailors adage: Red sky at morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight. The Predictwind App is calling for 25 knot winds out of the northeast for the next several days. We moved over to an Elizabeth Harbor mooring to be safe. Both Nicholas and Mary moved their boats over to the Sand Dollar Beach anchorage nearby.
We did our best to prepare for John Gilmartin's visit tomorrow and the weather. We took delivery of 75 gallons of water and asked Jamaal to take a bag of trash. We also asked if he could provide water taxi service to get John over to this side of the harbor. He was agreeable then changed his response later. Part of the problem is that he is currently using a borrowed boat since his boat is in a repair shop. I called a few more water taxi vendors only to hear "it's too late in the day" or "I'm not so sure."
Oh well, time to go ashore for a hike. Off we went in the dinghy for something new.
