A pair of male red-bellied woodpeckers.

This one claimed its own tree.

Marc-   Today we returned to doing our morning walk around the golf course and came upon woodpeckers on two palm trees.  We then did an excellent NY Times Crossword Zoom session thanks to Brian Gilmartin.    I went to the local dentist to look into gum pain.  It had been getting worse until I made an appointment and then it improved daily.  The dentist said the swelling was caused by some sort of irritation that has resolved.  Good news for me.

We heard from our air conditioning dealer who informed us that there would be an added delay in getting the unit we ordered (despite having said last week it shipped from Tampa and we would receive it last week.  We have heard so many stories at this week and they don't add up).  He offered another more expensive model but we took the refund.  Michael drove me over to West Marine where we found another unit in stock at Stock Island near Key West.  This will give us an opportunity to go back to Key West to visit tomorrow.

Michael and Doreen encountered another Iguana and took a short video:  https://youtu.be/cPyodu2sDf8

We took a dinghy ride up Sister's Creek at sunset this evening.  We saw several big boats anchored there with their sterns tied to the mangroves.  We went as far as seeing Marathon Beach.  It was fun to see our walking paths from a different perspective.

Our dinghy ride Boot Key Harbor sunset.
