There is danger in that beautiful water here in this part of the Keys.

Marc-  Today Sue and I were fortunate enough to both get our first Covid-19 vaccines.  I had an appointment today at one of the CVS pharmacies in Homestead.  Michael & Doreen drove us up but we had trouble finding the pharmacy.  In fact there was no CVS pharmacy to be found despite all our electronic devices pinpointing its location.  The space was occupied by "Navarro," a locally owned pharmacy difficult to identify as a pharmacy to someone from out of town.  CVS had bought Navarro, but signs were not changed.  Sue read the fine print on their website and it said CVS in large print and in small print it indicated "operating as Navarro."  In any case the people inside treated us exceptionally well and allowed Sue to get a vaccine as well.  We were given the same date for the second dose, April 2.  That date is the same as Michael's (his is in Miami), so logistically it'll be easy-ish for us to get the vaccines as we are travelling North in the boats.

We stopped to look at some harbors and marinas on our return trip to the Keys.  Gilbert's Marina was our first stop in Key Largo.  The outdoor Tiki hut beach area was very nice.  Unfortunately the marina is rather expensive at 3.25 per foot for a transient slip.  Our next stop was the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo.  This place was great with a flat rate of $26 per night including electric and water.  The facilities are excellent but the beaches came with a crocodile warning.

Finally we pulled in to the Dairy Queen in Tavernier Key.
Hot fudge sunday time.
