Spring flowers on the way to the beach.

Marc-   We did our standard walk to Sombrero Beach this morning.  Each time we go we discover something new.  The water colors are always beautiful and always different.

I never get tired of this beach.

We returned from the beach and did more projects and the NY Times Crossword puzzle on zoom.   In late afternoon we went off to Burdines Marina and Restaurant for a birthday treat for Sue and Doreen.   The restaurant is built on top of the fuel dock and open on all sides.  Think of a large Tiki Hut on top of a large deck over the marina fuel dock.  The view from the restaurant deck is great.  It borders the main channel for Boot Key Harbor.  We saw everything from dolphins swimming by to the Florida Environmental Police pulling over a boat for an inspection.  The meal was fine and the key lime pie was fantastic (we had regular and fried).

We joined Michael and Doreen for a walk around the Marathon golf course after dinner.
