Huntington Beach State Park
Murrells Inlet, South Carolina
Marc- We are back to one of our favorite State Parks. Our campsite is fine but it was a little tricky to park the camper under a large live oak with low hanging branches. We managed to fit under the tree and will get plenty of shade. It was 80 degrees when we arrived here. The next week is forecast to be in the 60's. It was great to hike the beach and then a cool forest trail.

Looking South along the beach. (Note the footprints as depressions).
Looking North on the beach (Note that the footprints are no longer depressions in the sand).
Piping plovers.
More Piping plovers.
We turned inland and followed this trail.

The octopus tree on the forest trail.
Azaleas at the end of the forest trail.
